If you are a University grad, try Meloche Monnex.

Just because they quoted YOU higher is no reason to stay away. They might be the best option for him. Best bet is to try 4 or 5 places and go with the best for you.

+1... my rates from statefarm were 50 bucks higher than meloche monnex... Depends on your individual quotes, try calling different places...

Johnson Insurance (Unifund). Best rates ever - my new 2006 Mustang GT Coupe (V8 RWD) was significantly cheaper then my 6 year old A4 (6 cyl AWD) that I had at my old company. Value of GT was higher then A4 - go figure.

Before I sold the A4, I did check with Johnson on a tip from a friend, and their rates were lower then my old company onthe A4 (didn't switch because was selling...). Once I got the GT, I went with Johnson no questions. They've had great service so far - haven't had a claim yet.
