Default Does a motorcycle accident affect my driving record or car insurance rates?

Haven't had a car accident in over 10 years, but I did have a spill on my bike ruled my fault recently. Will this affect my car insurance at all? It hasn't yet, but I'm about to switch insurance companies and get a new car. I also no longer have a motorcycle.Oh, I should add that this happened longer ago than I thought. Back in January. My car insurance has NOT gone up. I'm just worried that shopping for NEW insurance they'll see it and it will affect things.

It will if it is on your driving record or if you reported it to your insurance company. I have had the same insurance company for the last 18 years and just had a very small claim ~1500 and my rates went up $600 a year.Hope it works out for you
