Echelon rates up 25% since last year!

I currently have insurance through riders plus provided by Echelon insurance.

My driving record is unchanged from last year but Echelon's rates went up by exactly 25% (to the penny I might add)

I'm just curious if everyone's rates went up by 25%???

Mine went down. Not much, but it did.

Mine dropped, by $30 . Been with Rider's for 4 years, if that means anything.

hmm, I've been riding for 25yrs... I even called rider's plus and they confirmed the rate is acurate...

Something is fishy!

For you guys that had rates go down, did anthing else change, i.e. drop in coverage, another year of experience, bike change??

p.s. my current rate is $684/yr (high/low??)

Mine went up also. They told me rates when up last year right after I signed up. I went with Duffy....I got more insurance and a lower premium!

~$730 on an '01 SV650. 38 in age with 4 years riding. Clean record...until earlier this spring. That hasn't come into play yet...

I just requested a quote from Duffy... we'll see if Echelon priced themselves out of my business.
