i got in a car accident and i just got my m1. will my motorcycle insurance go up? im paying 300 a month for a van now...n b4 the accident i was paying 120. will my rates sky rocket like they did on my van? ..i just bough a motorcycle so thats y im asking

does it really matter when your dead?insurance is two fold... You are betting that you will have an accident and need to have money to cover costs. the insurance company is betting you wont have an accident. If you have an accident the insurance company loses and has to pay out money, the then make you lose by upping your cost for the same insurance or possibly drop you entirely.

Biker for Life has it right.Normally if you are not at fault, your rates will not rise.The last time I had an accident my insurance rates did go up, but only because I decided to buy UM/UIM insurance due to a severe scolding by my attorney. I would suggest you purchase this coverage too.
