When I was shopping last year, they were the cheapest I could find. My house and car are with Monnex -- typically, I see really low rates from them. Not on the bike, though. I tried state farm too, less than Monnex, but Riders Plus wound up being a couple hundred cheaper.

I've never had to make a claim so I can't comment on their service in that respect. Payment was due in three monthly installements for the first three months of the contract.

They won't insure under 25 though.

I wonder if the switch to Echelon will change this policy?

They saved me $350 compared to Kingsway.

I went back to Kingsway three years ago cause they offered me a better rate. Each year thereafter they kept bumping my premium. Just got lazy an accepted it.

This year got off my butt and checked with Rider Plus. Going with Rider Plus is saving me $400 over Kingsway.

Just goes to show we should be shopping around every year.

I'm not sure which business school you went to but walking away from the Sportbike market certaily reduces the volume of business that Riders can write since they are broker.

My guess is that Echelon will be less restrictive than Kingsway in what they will cover so the hence the change
