Default yz250f or yz125 for track riding?

Right now I have a kx100 and i am 5 ft 9in so i am to tall for it and weigh 125 pounds. I have been riding for 1 year. I am 14 and i do mostly track riding but i will not be racing it. What bike would be better for me a yz125 or yz250f? which one will cost more over a 1 year period? which one requires the most mainenice? How often do you have to adjust the valves on a 4 stroke.
