Default 2 stroke bogging (KX125)........?

Before i start i will say that i did do some searches but didnt get too much info, at least it wasnt specific enough for me. Ok well anyway i have a 2001 KX125 and the last 2 weekends out at the track it has been bogging. This bog is between 0-1/4 of the throttle. Right as i give it gas, it will bog for about a second or 2 then kick in. What should i do about this? Pilot jet? Another problem i have is that today when i washed my bike i forgot i didnt have the exhaust tip in and i sprayed water right into it (Pro circuit). I know, i am idiot! Now the bike wont start. I checked the air filter and it was soaking wet (prob from the wash), so i cleaned that and am letting it dry right now. tomorow i will put it back on and try to start it. Do you think the water in the exhaust is to blame? If so what should i do?

A little bit of water in your pipe won't hurt anything, long as it didn't flood all the way up to the header. You'd have to have really been trying to get it that far. If you think there is more than a small amount of water in the pipe, remove the spark plug and kick it 20 or 30 times. Make sure you don't see any water in the cylinder before you start it up.As for the bogging, always start with the carb when you have that sort of problem. If you feel up to it, tear it apart and clean everything with aerosol carb cleaner. If that doesn't do the trick, replace the jets, they're cheap so you might as well just replace them all to be sure.

Start by going up a heat range with your spark plug and making sure your oil to gas ratio is correct. if that doesnt work. Take the float bowl off of the carb pull out jets use a paperclip or needle to push out the gunk from jets, spray carb cleaner through them, then compressed air hang on tight or you will blow them across the shop., then reinstall jets. Make sure your float and needle are at correct height you can adjust by bending tab that connects needle to float. Also check to see if there are any holes in float. As far as water in pipe remove spark plug kick over for a few minutes then replace with new spark plug.
