i have a 92 kx250 that has been resleeved to use a 93-00 pistons (which are a tad smaller) as well as it is now a thick iron sleeve capable of being bored many times (whoever did this was very smart, because they went a size smaller than stock so when its been bored out over and over then it will be size of stock for that year) and it needs a smaller overbore on it-my question is, can i use an 80's piston, which is the same size as the stock that came in this engine, if i bore the cylinder out to match?
