What's better: 2 or 4 stroke dirtbikes?

I'm thinking about purchasing a Honda 250, but i was wondering which is better: the CRF250 , or the CR250.The only riding I would be doing is just for fun, not racing.Or possibly is there another company that makes better dirtbikes than Honda?
