Best way to Finance a Motorcycle?
I have been trying to buy a ninja 250 (and going through hell to find them). I finally found a dealer and got to one, but my credit and even my co-signor's credit weren't enough for kawasaki's financing. I'm just now finding out that there are actually ways to finance a motorcycle.. go figure. What is the best way? I had good credit, but something hit it and brought it to 690 and I can't find what it was. Since then, I've done 3 insurance quotes online, a wells fargo loan app, and the dealer checked me by myself, and with 2 different cosignors for the Kawasaki finance with HSBC bank. I hear they're impossible to get a loan from, and have decided to try for a credit union, or alternative method. My job doesn't have a union, are there any"average joe"unions? Can I get on with my cousin's teacher's union? What is the best way to finance a motorcycle with (now, subpar) credit? By best, I mean what WON'T turn me down.. MUCH thanks. Thanks for the answers. It is simply a ninja 250, 07 model. $2899 with taxes included at the dealer. Definitely the cheapest I've seen, cheaper than most the older'01 used models I've seen with many miles on them, actually. My dad and 43 year old brother were riders back in the day, and were disappointed and confused as to why they wouldn't lend me a small 3k for a cycle.Do they check your license or safety course status when checking for financing? Does it have anything to do with where you work, or just your credit? I think I'm hitting my credit hard asking for insurance quotes, credit unions, finances, and loans. BUT HEY.... it's stuff that has to be done. When getting a loan, I don't need full coverage insurance do I? Not if I walk in and pay cash to the dealer, right? The dealer just told me they use a credit union. But I should probably go through the union myself instead of through the dealer through the union, right?
