Harley-Davidson Financing question?

I was recently involved in a motorcycle wreck and I need to have my billing date changed from the 1st to the 15th. How do I go about doing that in an e-mail? I think they need a signature for proof its me. Can I scan a note with my signature and send it via e-mail?

I don't know that your accident will have any impact on your financing.Depending upon how long you've been paying on it, the finance company may work with you. If it is financed thru HD, give them a call to see what can be done. If you have a good payment record, they might help you out.On the otherhand, if you only need to pay by the 15th for a couple of months, consider just making the payment closer to that date. If your regular due date is the 1st, then you a 15 day grace period before it is actually late and you could just send the payment in time for them to receive it on the 14th or so. When you get caught up, go back to your regular payment schedule.Nothing is recorded to your credit report unless you go outside the 15 day grace period.
