looking to buy or maybe finance a motorcycle (cruiser)?

im looking for something that will be a good starter bike and good on insurance if i have to finance it. also im 225 lbs, so i know that getting a smaller engine bike would not be ideal for my size but could i get around ok with just a 250 keeping off the freeway??trying to stay around 3000 dollars for the bikeany input would be helpfull just try not to be an a**
