07 ninja ex250 gears? how many are there"supposed to be"?
ok, so i bought a used 07 ninja 250. ive read that it has 6 gears. one down and 5 up? mine only goes four up. ??? and its at about 7.5k rpms at about 55 mph usually...is this right? i dont have the manual..soo its my first bike and i was just wondering

The 07 has only 5 gears. The 08+ has 6 gears. Also the 08 they redid the whole bike. The bike looks like a newer bike and everyone is buying them there are ppl on waiting list for the 08+ for over a year.
