oil and filter for my kawasaKI NINJA 250?

Can I just buy the oil at Canadian tire? Or do I need to go to the dealer ship? Filter I asssume I need to go to the dealership. Please tell me what type opf oil exactly, where to get it, how much $ and how much for the air filter.

it depends on what model you have and oil if its the kind in the store and you put it in then 5.00 something and i have no idea about the filter
