Is there a big difference between the Ninja 250, 500, and 650 besides engine size?

I've been doing some research and it seems that the top speed between the 250 and 500 are quite similar and the 650 is about 10mph higher. Does anyone know the exact numbers for top speed? Cause if the 250 and 500 are so close then why bother with the 500 and just get the 250.

They have different torque figures. The 650 is quiker than the 500 and so on. Are you planning to be going 100+ all the time? I have a 250 and it is a great little bike. It doesn't have the torque like a 650 though...

The big difference is not how fast they go, it's how fast they go fast!

If top speeds the thing you're worried about, I wouldn't reccommened any of those bikes. Look for a sportbike.Only difference between the 250 and 500 is a little bit of weight. the 650 in more upright and"comfortable", plus is fuel injected so will run smoother and have less worrys.
