Is Motogp qualifying more exciting than the racing this season?

Hiya,just watched the qualifying on Eurosport (they actually showed the whole hour - and 125's!) and it made me laugh, gasp, clap and giggle (no wincing as crashes were minimal) so I'm wondering if I've seen the best of the weekends racing already?I sure hope not - but is it symptomatic of this seasons racing - or do I just need to get out more?

personally I would say get out more. qualifying they can pick when to go out , who to try and follow, and let the pit crew do a lot of the work. still good to watch I agree. but come green flag time. its all or nothing for man and machine. it may not look as exiting but when you stop and think about all that's going on. ........................... give me race day.

Hi DingoQualifying was particularly absorbing today, but I think I'm in the minority this season when I find the racing even more exiting.It doesn't matter to me whether its paint swappingly close, or just admiring a riders skill as he clears off into the distance. (Maybe I'm just too much of a"Racing Anorak")I'm chuffed to bits that Nicky has grabbed pole, but I think the grid positions give a slightly false impression of whats going to happen in the race.Going by pace on race tyres, it's gonna be a three horse race between Casey, Vale and Danny.I know I said I like the racing no matter what. But a change is as good as a rest, so I hope to see a bit of paint swapping at Estoril.
