DON'T DO IT ! I made the MISTAKE of thinking I'd up grade to a"REAL MOTORCYCLE"Worst mistake I ever made! I had a Burgman 650 and went to a Blvd C 50-T Cruiser 800cc. The Burgman ran SMOOTHER, WAS AUTOMATIC ( clutch is a pain in the rear ) BETTER WIND&RAIN PROTECTION , even with saddle bags on C50-T the BURGMAN has LOCKABLE, MASSIVE STORAGE, and The BURGMAN COULD TURN ON A DIME ( un-like the Blvd"tractortrailer! ). I'd trade ANYONE their 2008 Burgman 650 for my 2008 Blvd C50-T , that's how strong I feel about the difference! Get a Maxi Scooter like the BURGMAN , you won't regret it. SV650 is a good bike, just take an msf course if you havent and if you dont know how to drive a regular motorcycle. Be safePat

I prefer cruisers so that's not my style but I think it's a great bike and have heard nothing but good thigns about it. You have certain desirable features of a sport bike and other features of comfort that are not typical of a sport bike.
