I want to do some mods for my Suzuki SV650 (ie: shorten them, get some LED turn signals). It's my first bike so I don't know much about modifying. Is there a good tutorial website that shows step by step processes for modifying turn signals and adding lights? I know there are soo many cool things people do, but I don't know how to get started. Any ideas?

It's a standard job, adding lights. Just be careful. Do not add lights of such a power level that the alternator cannot produce enough current to keep your battery charged. If you go to LED turn signals you will need to replace the flasher unit or add some circuitry to the turn signals, other wise it will not cycle properly. You can buy sets of lights, such as brake lights that are designed to handle LED lamps.Check out WebBikeWorld, for a review of light sets and circuitry, designed to make this easy for you.
