A 2006 CBR 600 f4i vs. second generation Suzuki SV650I am leaning toward the f4i because of its looks and its inline 4 engine, but my dad (who is overseeing the purchase) wants to get an SV650.im not talking about the CBR600RR im talking about the F4i which is the more laid back version of the RR.

Honestly, I have had both bikes and you can't go wrong with either. They are both great. Two things I would consider in purchasing one or the other is to ask yourself which one do you like best and how am I going to ride this bike. The Sv is a great all around motorcycle, but the CBR does have more power and a racier feel. You may want to check with your insurance agent as well. This may help you better decide what bike you can best afford.

Just for your info....You dad is thinking about how much the CBR is going to cost to insure...Any bike with an (R) at the end....Means RACE to the INSURANCE COMPANY.Some they will not insure for anyone under 25 unless you want to pay $2000.00 a year.
