SO about 5 days ago i decided to ride a motorcycle, and burned the inner part of my calf by the muffler. I ran in the house and immediately applied ice which stopped the pain until i had to take a shower. I used dermoplast that night to lessen the pain, and it worked. However, I've been pretty tough about the pain, my biggest worry has been the possibility of severe scarring. Its definitely a second degree burn, but its about 3cm by 7cm, and so its pretty noticeable. I've been putting neosporin on it, but i was told aloe vera was great on burns and vitamin e oil was great for reducing the appearance of scars. PLEASE if u have any advice on products that reduce pain but prevent scarring. I was told to let it breath, but to also keep it moisturized. I'm afro-latino, so my skin tone is sort of a light brown tone, and the burn has started to look browner and pinkish-red. its not infected, but im I'm really curious about what to do to prevent its appearance.also, if i used the aloe, i was wondering if you were suppose to apply it straight to the burn. this is much more than sun burn so would it still work? and what other natural resources are there. thank you very much 4 whatever advice u have!!
