i have a motorcycle burn?

This is a discussion on i have a motorcycle burn? within the Exhaust forums, part of the Parts category; so i burnt myself on the muffler of a bike, i now have a huge water blister... is it safe ...

Yes. Pop it and chuck loads of antiseptic on it then dress it. Stick a new dressing on it a couple of times a day.

Popping it exposes the skin underneath to bacteria and possible infection, but it will probably break on it's own anyway. Be sure to keep the area clean and dry. Neosporin if/when you can stand to apply it. I had several of those growing up. Be sure to wear long pants/protection around motorcycles.
