Oil weight for Honda Shadow Spirit VT750 motorcycle?

I have had my bike for over a year now and I didn't receive a handbook.I need to know what oil weight my 2006 Honda Shadow Spirit VT750 takes. I'm going to attempt to change my own oil to save some cash.

From my manual, use 10-40 if max temp is under 80F and 20-50 and 20-50 if its over 100.Im sure most people run 10-40.And you refill with 2.5 US quarts if you change the filter too, which I HIGHLY recommend.

30 to 40 weight is standard for fair-weather riding; lowerweights for high temps, higher weights for lower temps...Obijon2112
