if i could combine this face
with this face thats about where I would be. I just bought a 1979 CB750 fixed a bunch of stuff wrong with, drove it last night and got a ticket for riding wothout running lights. I checked the fuse( i think all), the ones at the handlebars, checked the wires, but still no luck on fixing issue. the turn signals work and the brake lights work, just no running lights. can someone help?

I'll replace them and post hopefully the final response. thanks again

Reminds me about a cartoon I saw, years ago, which showed a half dozen white smocked scientists all deeply concerned and feverishly trying to fix an old cabinet sized computer that was simply unplugged. Don't feel bad, its a simple mistake that we've all made over the years. Whether its dropping a gas tank because the fuel gauge said 'empty' and found that it really was, or replacing an alternator and then finding out the 'charge' fuse was broken. Don't worry - you're in good company!
