83 virago ruuing bad

just bought a 1983 yamaha 920 had the carbs cleaned and the carb holers to the engine are craked need to be replaced it about 105 degrees outside i rode it to work and it ran ok i filled the gas up full it ran better on the way home it ran realy bad stalling atleast 10 times i know the holeders have somthing to do withit but could there be anothr problem. i just had the carbs cleaned and synced what would the amount of gas in the tank have to do withit
