Default xr 185 carb problem, I think
hey having trouble with my dads old xr 185 honda... start to bog when throttle full open, not sure what the issue could be. anyone??????????

Default rebuild carb first
Most likely the carb. I would rebuild the carb first since rebuild kits are fairly cheap. If that don't work, we'll go from there

I've also seen poor spark contribute to bogging issues. If rebuilding didn't get-er-done, try checking the plug and coil spark quality. Blue is good / yellow is not so good.
