Default If you had one piece of safety gear...

to leave behind...

what would it be?
What one piece would you/could you live with out?

I might add, you must currently/regularly wear your "misc armor" if it's the
first to go. probly shouldnta put that one in there. :P

Also, add a comment as to your reasoning why that particular piece gets left.
Not trying to start a pissing contest, but I'm just curious to hear what yall would say?

I either wear a textile riding jacket or MX chest protector but if I had to give up something, I suppose that would be it. The kind of riding I do, everything else is a must.

I screwed up and click before reading ,I clicked on helmet, then saw what would you leave behind, actually since all I wear (in gear) is a helmet (no riding jacket, riding pants, I wear shoes with good rubber sole, but not boots, no armor to speak of, not even gloves, yet) but I would leave the pants out of it if I had everything else, the riding pants that is, I would still wear jeans (perverts LOL)

I said boots I would be less likely to ware them any way.
I have a bad habit of wearing skate shoes.
when I went down last tue, I found the hands and head were the first to hit.

I went with Misc amour but only in the context of leaving the armoured jacket and pants at home and wearing the unarmoured ones.

I left the riding jacet at home, one because I dont have one, and two because the jacket I wear is a leather jacket, that has some pretty good slide resistance to it, I would imagine no were near that of an actualy leather motorcycle jacket though.

My boots, because the feet are not what you land on in a crash.
