Default Remember to be safe...

To all my brothers and sisters out there:

Remember to be safe out there on the road. The weather (at least here is Texas) is starting to warm up and folks are dusting off thier bikes and giving them a scoot. Remember to check them over very carefully and please give yourself a little time to re-adjust to riding again. Take it slow and get to know your bike again.

I say this because a wreck just happened just down the street from my house. I didn't see it, but my wife passed the carnage on her way home form church. There was a lot of fellow bikers helping out with the wreck directing traffic and getting EMS service into the area. She said the bike was in the woods... I don't know what happened.

When I first got back into riding I thought I would just pick up where I left off... and almost ate it on a curve... it was a life changing event.

Be safe,
//ike

What you posted about checking your stuff over before getting it out is a good idea. Too many people forget that tires loose air during the winter and other things can happen.
