Test ride all 3. I personally like the way the Yamaha and Honda handles. I think the Kawasakis and Suzukis are awkward feeling. Almost as though they are not well balanced. Anyway, take them all on test rides and decide for yourself.
I bought my wife a Honda vlx 600 (Shadow) to learn on and that proved to be perfect.
