I'm kind of in between a M and a L on most gloves that I try on. I recently looked at a pair of the Marsee Racing gloves and really like them. I tried on a L and it seemed to fit OK, but I really need to try the M. I have a feeling that the fingers will be too short on the M even though the hand part of the glove will fit better. Since I'm in between sizes, I was wondering if it was possible to get the M and soak them in hot water while they are on my hand and then go for a good long ride while they dry. I was thinking that they would conform to my hand as they dried.
Has anyone ever done anything similar? Surely I can't be the only guy who has a hard time finding glvoes that fit like, well, a glove. |

I think glove oil (use on baseball gloves) would probably work better. Water would probably make the gloves dry and stiff once it dries :shrug That's why they use it as a form of slow torture.....soak a leather strap in water and tie it around someone's neck. As it dries, it contracts and suffocates them.

You can shrink gloves, dollar bills, etc, half its size or more in anhydrous ammonia (R-717.) That's the stuff we use at work for a refrigerant. Farmers use it as a fertilizer and meth dealers use it to make highly toxic chemicals. Use glycerin to restore the softness.
