Default Funny story

Well, I was on my Mountain bike last summer. This was mid summer and I got really use to riding my motorcycle. It was a long time since I was on a peddle bike.

Well, lets go over what you would do if a car pulled in front of you on your sportbike. What you would do is, pull in the clutch fast and hit the break hard, right. Well I forgot I was on my mountain bike and not my sportbike..... And what does the left handle do on the mountain bike....hehe. Can you say front break........ I have never gone over the front of the bars so fast in my life. Next thing I know I am on the ground sliding and the girl in the car was laughing like you would not believe. I was pissed at 1st, then thought about what I must had looked like.... I did not have my leathers on...lol and I got minimal road rash..... It was soooo funny. I laughed for hours after that.

Had to share you all with that story.

Well, if she pulled out in front of me like that, and it wasn't my fault, I don't care how funny I must have looked, I'd punch her in the face

I jump up and down curbs pretty regularly on my mountain bike going to and from class. A quick pull up on the handlebars on my 500R doesn't work for avoiding bumps. :shake

Both of my mountain bikes have VERY different geometry from each other, and definantly my SV. One is a race full suspension and the other is just a simple, but nice hardtail that I beat the crap out of and ride to class. It has a downhill handlebar, and every time I am on it and haven't been in a while I will do a wheelie and go straight of the back because it is SO easy to pull up. My other bike has a Michelin Hot S on the front, and it turns sharper than possibly any other MTB tire in the world. I switched bikes with a friend for a ride and he tried to cut his first turn close on the inside and it dug in so fast he hit his head on a tree on the inside of the turn.

It is funny how quickly our reactions change to suit the vehicle we are on.
