Default head lights?

When I turn the bike on, only the right headlamp comes on, then when I turn on the brights the left one comes on? Is this normal or is my left headlamp out? just wondering before I schedule a service?

What kind of bike do you have. A lot of the new one have the right side for low beam and the right for high beam, if this is the case for your bike, then everything is good.
When you turn the bright lights on, does both head lights come on?

If that's right, hopefully, my older GSXR will not be doing that. I like the feel of both of them being on at the same time.

The Suzukis don't necessarily do that. The newer model SV 650S and GSXRs have both lights lit as low beam, and also high beam. Not sure about older models. My husband and I have Suzuki sport bikes.
