If not, don't you think I can change the tires and pipes and have a dual sport or off road bike?
Thanks

I seriously doubt there was much physical difference between the CB360 (Street) and CL360 (Scrambler) then as you yourself noted Pipes, Tires and Graphics. Certainly was true of the previous CB350 & CL350 I had before this model. Mind you back then they did have a SL350 model which did have a completely different frame and the like, but same engine (minus the electric starter on later SL's). Seriously though none of these bikes were very good for even mild off-road duty. IMO, any number of even older street legal 'Enduros' would work far better in both duties then the old CB/CL's, and probably be less of an expenditure?!

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking. I have a Suzuki PE175, but I didn't know anyone with a dirt bike. so I was thinking if I threw the pipes I have on it, and changed the tires, I have a couple friends that might want to come out with me and play in the dirt.
But then I have the dilemma, do I want to ride the 360 so they don't break it? or do I want to ride the 175 and have more fun?

Tweak My Man. The CB/CL hybrid might get you by for 'vintage playing in the dirt.' It might even be kinda' cool. Although the '60s and '70s scramblers were kick butt in their time, and all of the movie stars rode them, they were still pretty much a streetbike with maybe some gearing adjustments. It was about all there was available to 'everyman'. With proper attire, high pipes and knobbies you'd cast quite a presence. With the instalation of a 21'' front wheel and longer shocks in the rear you might by able to create a bike that would actually work noticably better. A 21''er makes a hell of a lot of difference. That's why they use them today.

Here's a site which might help out.

I would really hate to see you turn the cb into a dirt monster, don't suppose I could talk you out of that old bike could I???? I have a 78 CB 400 I have fixed up and would like to do an old 360.

Hard to believe, but in 1968, a factory Honda cl350 won Baja overall!!!!

I'm not sure of all of the differences but I do know the rear brake levers are not the same. A CB to CL might not have a problem, but the CB pipes will hit the CL brake lever.
