I've never wired in an alarm, but would think it'd be fairly straightforward.
Whatever alarm you choose should have installation instructions. Give them a read & see if it's something you want tackle or if it's something you'd rather have a pro do. If you're good with even basic electrics, I'll bet you can manage it, save yourself some bucks & have the self-gratification of having done it yourself :wink: |

As mentioned, I've never installed an alarm, but I believe they can be mounted in various places on the bike.
If you've got the brand name of the alarm you have, you might be able to contact the manufacturer & just give them the Model #, etc. & ask them for a set of installation instructions. Many manufacturers are usually happy to provide 'em for their product as it's good customer relations. Another possibility is that if you posted that Brand, Model # info here, there's always an outside chance that someone reading this here might have the same alarm & could provide you with the installation instructions. |
