I cant say about the oild screen for the 125 but if its as easy as the 250 it should not be a problem, I suggest a clymer as i am in the dark also on the 125. And for the air filter, just remove the left side (shifter side) cover and then the side plate for the filter housing, remove the old and in with the new. Again assuming it comes out like the 250.

actually, cTc, some of those 250 oil screens are pretty tough to get out depending on age, whether they've ever been removed, etc.
on my 85, for example, i never did get it out. those three phillips head bolts are blue loctited in there at the factory which doesn't help. i even tried an impact driver and a hammer and still nothing. good news is you don't really have to remove them unless they are torn. you can generally get down there low enough with a mirror, a flashlight and several q tips and see the bottom side of it where it is installed under the oil pump. if there is any dirt on it, you can generally just clean it off on the bottom side (intake side -- oil moves up through the pump out of the sump) and carefully clean it off with the q-tips. mine had nothing on it at all. and, by the way, septimus, you access it by draining the oil (oil plug on the bottom) and popping the right engine side cover. you'll probably want to have a new paper gasket for that side cover on hand -- depending on age and condition, it will probably tear on removal. you'll have to scrape it off with gasket remover, razor blade and brake cleaner or something similar. |

Im sure there are bikes that will have the tought to remove screens, but of the 5 rebels I have worked on, I havent had one give me major troubles yet. I always tighten before I loosen to help break the locktite and let the screws back out easier. I've been luck that none of these have had rounded out screws also. Its just a matter of the condition of the screws as well as the quality of the tools used, I am a craftsman man for most things, but I go snap-on for screw drivers etc.
Ive never rplace any of them more than once, just when I get them I try to go through them and see that all are ready for the road before I re-sell them. |

Hi there,
Well..... its look good but not to fast, around the 60-70MPH. I got it a week ago and did 65MPH. Which i think its fine for a city. (I will prefer somthing faster, but ill get there eventually) Its look the same as the 250cc.....just smaller engine  |
