The Ducati 100 CADET was a Single cylinder, 2-stroke, piston port Classic motorcycle produced by Ducati in 1966. Claimed horsepower was 7.24 HP (5.4 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

A 50.8mm bore x 50.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 97.0 cubic centimeters.

DriveEdit

The bike has a 3-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.

ChassisEdit

It came with a 2.25-18 front tire and a 2.50-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm, twin shocks. The wheelbase was 45.71 inches (1161 mm) long.

The Cadet was a road bike, powered by a 97.6cc engine. This was good for 7.2 horsepower, and as this example is an early model the engine is paired to a twist grip handlebar shift.
