Engine

The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Two stroke, 90°V-twin cylinder. The engine featured a 7.3:1 compression ratio.

Drive

Power was moderated via the Wet plate.

Chassis

It came with a 100/80-17 front tire and a 130/70-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 276 mm discs 2 piston calipers in the front and a Single 220mm disc 1 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Swinging arm. The NS250 was fitted with a 19 Litres / 5.0 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 144 kg / 317 lbs.
