Aeromere

Aeromere started life as the Caproni Bomber Co. in Italy during the first world war. The company made some of the largest bombers and held several records for gross weight lifted.

After the second world war the company was limited to manufacturing non war related items, such as motorcycles.

Several models were manufactured until the early 1960's including a BMW like opposed twin of 150cc's and several small singles. The singles featured a unique "face cam", overhead cam arrangement driven by a shaft.

Primarily imported by Cosmopolitan Motors in Pennsylvania, the Aeromeres were not big sellers and only approximately 3800 total units were imported to the U.S. Very rarely seen today, only a handful still exist, and even few as running examples.

Aeromere still sells plans for building the "Falco", a wood based small plane with a low wing and good performance.
