Gordon Davidson

The son of Walter Davidson, he joined the sales department in 1930 after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania. Seven years later he was a company director and was appointed vice-president of manufacturing in 1942. More at home on the shopfloor than in the office, he died in 1967. His brother Walter C., was much like their father, a natural salesman fond of company and the odd drink. Young Walter rose to become vice-president and sales manager. He died in 1974. Less is known of their cousin Allan. William A’s son. He too worked for the family firm, but sadly died young.
