The Husqvarna TC450 was a single cylinder, four-stroke Trial motorcycle produced by Husqvarna between 2002 and 2010.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 97.0mm bore x 60.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multi plate, hydraulic operation.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 120/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. bremo in the front and a single disc. bremo in the rear. The front suspension was a 48mm kayaba aos while the rear was equipped with a sachs multi adjustable shock with soft damp linkage. The TC450 was fitted with a 1.9 Gallon (7.20 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 222.23 pounds (100.8 Kg). The wheelbase was 62.8 inches (1595 mm) long.

The 2003 MY TC 450 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder lump paired to a six-speed manual transmission. In addition, it tips the scale at only 114 kg (dry weight), which makes it one of the lightest machines in its class, and loosely translates in improved maneuverability. An upside down telescopic fork and a rear progressive mono shock compose its suspension system.

Although the 2009 MY Husqvarna TC 450 is in its last year of production, that doesn't mean it got less attention from engineers, designers and even fans. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder engine paired to a six-speed manual transmission. In addition, it comes with a new titanium exhaust pipe, revised settings for the suspension system and revised graphics and colors, which were inspired from the racing Huskeys.
