Talk:Honda MR250

Does anybody know about the general specs of the engine of the MR250? is it basically the same as the CR 250 Elsinores from the 1973 to 1975 era? I recently purchased what seems to be a 76 MR but it has a 73/74 CR tank.

I'm wanting to make a AHRMA Historic Post Vintage race bike and want to make sure I have enough potential engine to ber competitive.
