Talk:Honda MT250

This was my first bike (1975). Bought it used for I think $300. Had been repo'd by the local Honda dealer. First owner had wrecked it, smashed the front rim, and it had a tiny (17"?) front wheel with no brake. I found him, bought the original wheel and laced a new rim onto it. He'd also painted the tank a Harley orange. I rattle-can repainted to original, came out pretty nice.

Had bike from March to August, plated on street, but also did a lot of dirt riding. Bike was clean twice - when I bought it, and when I sold it. Frame broke four times - both front lower corners @ wishbone, and just in front of both foot pegs. Oil injection quit working and engine suffered a minor seize.
