The Yamaha TZ125 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Yamaha between 1980 and 2002. Max torque was 18.44 ft/lbs (25.0 Nm) @ 12000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 43.05 HP (32.1 KW) @ 12250 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 54.0mm bore x 54.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 95/70-r17 front tire and a 125/55-r17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The bike weighed just 156.97 pounds (71.2 Kg). The wheelbase was 48.9 inches (1242 mm) long.
