A 55.9mm [[bore]] x 55.9mm [[stroke]] result in a [[displacement]] of just 498.0 cubic centimeters.  

==Drive==
The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.  

==Chassis==
It came with a 3.00- S18 front [[tire]] and a 3.50- S18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 260mm discs in the front and a single 260mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a  telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks. The 504 Sport was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank.

Classic Italian bike, the Benelli Sport is not one of the most reliable bikes ever built, not even the fastest.The four stroke, air cooled engine which develops 53 horsepower at 8600rpm and 43 Nm at 7400rpm is not exactly the best in the world, but back then when it was released, it was a good compromise.

It comes with an air-cooled, four-stroke, 498cc, transverse four cylinder powerhouse mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and can reach a maximum power output of 52 horsepower and 43 Nm of torque. 

The most notable features for this machine would be its telescopic fork, dual adjustable shocks in the rear, dual brake discs in the front coupled to a single disc in the rear, a dual seat, a chromed, dual exhaust system, lightweight, aluminium-alloy wheels, a small windscreen and a large, round headlamp.
