==Engine==
The engine was a [[liquid cooled]] single cylinder, four-stroke. A 95.0mm [[bore]] x 63.4mm [[stroke]] result in a [[displacement]] of just 449.3 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc clutch ; brembo hydraulics. 
 
==Chassis==
It came with a 90/90-21 front [[tire]] and a 140/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a  wp suspension up side down 4860 4cs while the rear was equipped with a wp suspension pds 5018 dcc. The FE450 was fitted with a 2.51 Gallon (9.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 243.61 pounds (110.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.35 inches (1482 mm) long.
