The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder.. The engine featured a 12.7:1 [[compression ratio]].  

==Chassis==

Kawasaki Netherlands has released a limited-edition MotoGP
replica version of its ZX-10R  but its based on last years colours and
riders.
The 50-off limited-edition run gives the
bikes an Akrapovic exhaust as standard, plus 2006-style MotoGP graphics,
right down to Nakanos name and number, even though Nakano is now a Honda
rider.
