The engine was a Air cooled cooled Parallel twin with push-rod valve actuation, 3 bearing crank balancer shaft, 2 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 10.1:1 [[compression ratio]].

Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate with [[hydraulic]] lifter.  

==Chassis==
It came with a 120/70 -17 front [[tire]] and a 180/55 -17 rear tire.
