During the late 80s and early 90s the 600cc [[sportbike]] class was little more than a sideshow. In 1992 and 1993, Suzuki attempted to use various components from the [[Suzuki GSX-R750|GSX-R750]] in a 600cc bike, but decided to scrape the project for '94.
