The Sachs X-Road was a single cylinder, four-stroke Supermotard motorcycle produced by Sachs between 2004 and 2008.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate clutch.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 150/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The X-Road was fitted with a 4.23 Gallon (16.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 266.76 pounds (121.0 Kg).
2004 - 2009 Sachs X-Road[edit | edit source]
The Sachs X-Road 125 is a one-of-a-kind. Styled like a supermoto with wide 17-inch rims, excellent brakes and red painted tubular steel frame it’s also got an underseat silencer and comes with aggressive-looking and grippy ‘wet’-style tires. The handling is extremely good, but the gearing is odd and it’s quite vibey. Around town when one doesn't need to much power the Sachs XRoad 125cc performs well. For some fun off-road, throw one some semi knob tires and explore the back roads. Whilst the bike can do with a little fine tuning, once setup right, it is a very reliable and stylish bike.
