EngineEdit
The engine was a liquid cooled SOHC, 4-Stroke, 4-Valve, liquid-cooled. A 88.9mm bore x 88.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 443.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
DriveEdit
The bike has a 2 / 4 WD + Diff Lock, reverse, hi/lo range transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic CVT.
ChassisEdit
It came with a 25 x 8-12 front tire and a 25 x 10-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic Disc in the front and a Hydraulic disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Double A-Arm while the rear was equipped with a Double A-Arm. The TRV 450i was fitted with a 5.68 Gallon (21.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 716.5 pounds (325.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.99 inches (1473 mm) long.
2011 Arctic Cat TRV 450Edit
The 2010 Arctic Cat 450 is great for two-up adventures far from the tarmac strips, on forest trails and unpaved roads, as well. Despite the middleweight engine, this ATV retains the character of its siblings, providing a dependable power/ torque deployment and being easy to master, thanks to the automatic transmission.
Selectable 2WD and 4WD mode, high and low range and a differential lock for the optimal power deployment in tough conditions will make the 2010 Arctic Cat 450 ride well when the going gets tough. Add in the reverse gear, the generous ground clearance and the independent double A-arm suspensions and obstacles look no longer that menacing. Fit for both outdoor chores and for fun on forest trails, the 2010 Arctic Cat 450 also comes with a sizable luggage capacity.
2012 Arctic Cat TRV 450iEdit
The 2011 Arctic Cat TRV 450i is a middleweight ATV in the two-up range and this means it comes with more optional equipments installed as standard, while retaining all the off-road functionality of the base models. The 450i GT is now offering power steering, a padded passenger backrest and additional hand grabs, power steering, aluminum rims and an automotive-type paint job.
