The Yamaha Big Bear 250 was a single cylinder, four-stroke ATV produced by Yamaha between 2009 and 2011.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 71.0mm bore x 58.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 229.6 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed w/reverse transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 22/7-10 front tire and a 22/10-10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a mcpherson independent double wishbone, 5 position preload adjustment, 125 mm stroke while the rear was equipped with a swingarm, 135 mm stroke. The Big Bear 250 was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 455.92 pounds (206.8 Kg). The wheelbase was 46.06 inches (1170 mm) long.
